MONEY
The Art of Allowing: Releasing Lack and Embracing Abundance
You check your bank account and feel a familiar tightness in your chest. You went over budget this month, and now you’re caught in a spiral of worry. Thoughts race: How will I make ends meet? What if I don’t have enough? I should have been more responsible. The emotions of guilt, stress, and scarcity flood in.
But here’s the truth: These feelings don’t arise because you spent too much money. They arise because you’ve already decided that you will lack money at the end of the month. Your assumptions, not your spending, are what’s creating this stress.
The Flow of Abundance
Imagine money as an endless river, constantly moving, expanding, and replenishing. When you stress over lack, it’s as if you’re building a dam, blocking the natural flow of abundance. But when you shift your mindset, when you assume that money will come in ways you can’t yet predict, you open the floodgates.
What if, instead of expecting financial struggle, you assumed that you would have more than enough? That money is always finding its way to you, often from unexpected sources? That your paycheck is not your only source of abundance?
Even if you don’t believe it yet, just entertain the possibility.
The Power of Thought
As Abraham Hicks says, “A belief is just a thought that you keep thinking.” If you repeat a thought enough, it becomes your reality. Right now, your dominant thought might be, I won’t have enough. That thought is shaping your emotions, which then influence your actions, creating a self-fulfilling cycle of scarcity.
But what happens when you shift the thought? Try affirming:
“I will have more than I need by the end of the month, even if I buy this item. I don’t have to know how, it’s not my job to figure that out. My job is to trust. In one way or another, I will have more than enough.”
Let that thought settle in. You don’t have to believe it instantly. Just keep it in your awareness.
Listening to Your Emotions
Negative emotions are not there to punish you. They are signals, guiding you back to alignment with your true nature. When you feel anxiety about money, it’s because your higher self knows abundance is your birthright. Your suffering comes from resisting that truth, from insisting on seeing lack where there is none.
Many of us have been conditioned to believe that struggle and suffering are necessary to achieve anything. That money only comes through hard work, that we must earn our worth. This belief system creates unnecessary resistance.
But what if ease, joy, and trust were just as powerful, if not more, than struggle?
Shifting into a New Reality
Your only job is to open yourself to a new way of thinking. You don’t have to force belief. Just consider:
What if everything turns out okay?
What if I receive unexpected financial opportunities?
What if abundance is always available to me?
When you make this shift, life has a way of proving it to you. The money comes, the opportunities arise, and suddenly, you wonder why you ever doubted.
You are not here to scrape by. You are here to thrive. You are here to live in a state of ease and flow. You are here to receive.
